ThermoFlex Plus is a 4 mil, durable polyurethane based material that is highly flexible. It has a soft hand and strong grip. If properly applied, it will last for the life of the garment. You can apply ThermoFlex Plus to coton, polyester, blends, Spandex, Lycra, wool and linen. ThermoFlex Plus will NOT adhere to nylon. Most colors of ThermoFlex Plus may be applied in layers for multi-colored designs, with the exception of the Neon colors, Antique Silver, Old Gold, Metal Flake colors and Columbia Blue. ThermoFlex Sport is a durable thick film material designed to bridge the gaps in open-mesh athletic jersey. You can heat press ThermoFlex® Sport at a relatively low (300° F - 320° F) temperature and short dwell time (8-10 seconds), which minimizes dye migration from colored polyester jersey mesh. Subliblock™ is the solution to stop dye migration. Many of today's imported polyester fabrics are colored with inexpensive low energy dyes that migrate rapidly into attached polymeric material with the application of minimal heat, or slowly over time at normal room temperature. Subliblock™ films are designed with an additional layer to prevent dye migrating or “bleeding” through your transfer image from the dyed polyester fabrics.
Do not use SubliBlock on nylon, dazzle cloth, shiny polyester or moisture-wicking materials.
